ACEs & Outreach Sessions
a note from Helen about the heart of Studio Hope in Shasta County
As a former foster youth with a high ACE score myself, a foster mom, and a passionate advocate for children and families in crisis, I’ve seen firsthand the lasting impact of complex trauma. Here in Shasta County, the need for safe, healing spaces is critical. Nearly 40 percent of local adults report four or more Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), which is more than twice the California state average.

These numbers reflect thousands of lives affected by chronic stress, relational wounds, and nervous system dysregulation. These lives & stories inspired Studio Hope. This is my response to the heavy burden & lasting effects of complex trauma and the need for accessible, hope-filled support. I have walked this healing journey for more than 15 years and feel called to create a safe place for others to land for hope-filled coaching, support and creativity.
When you sponsor a session you're helping someone breathe a little deeper, learn new, creative ways to regulate and see their lives through a lens of hope. A portion of each session purchased goes toward outreach sessions as well. Sponsor a session. Apply for one. Gift one to someone you love. Healing begins in safe spaces.
with care,
Helen Rose Juveland
